Looking for the perfect place to host your boutique retreat or group workshop? 
Our century old farmhouse and purpose built Wellness Center is nestled in the Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia, the heart of wine country. The area boasts a plethora of tourist attractions, outdoor activities and beautiful scenery. We have shared accommodations for a small retreat group and can host up to 10 or 12  people for overnight stays. We also have two yoga/movement studios and a processing Kitchen area that can be rented outside of our class times, for group retreats. Single visitors or smaller groups are welcome to book as well. Please enquire if you have questions. We are a health and retreat centre and so we prefer our guests to appreciate yoga and health classes, massage and bodywork and quiet times between 10pm and 6am.  Usual cost for rental of the accommodation space is $500 per night plus HST and the studios are booked at $30 plus HST per hour.

Our Main floor studio is Wheelchair accessible and can fit about 12 yoga mats in rows or about 25 people seated in chairs for a presentation. We can provide chairs for 25 people and 3 long foldout tables. We do have a few yoga mats and equipment but only enough for about 8 people. Cost to rent this studio is $30 per hour or $250 per day plus HST.

Our upper floor studio boasts vaulted ceiling with oak beams to create a cosy vibe with great acoustics. We can fit about 20 yoga mats or dancers in this space which is accessed up a flight of stairs. Rental of this space is $30 plus tax per hour or $250 plus tax per day. Please note that the washroom is located down a flight of stairs on the main level and this studio is not wheelchair accessible.

There are some beautiful outdoor spaces to roam around, sit and enjoy the sunshine or hold your drum circle or meditation. Outdoor seating can be provided for up to 10 or 12 guests.

As an example of our accommodation space: we offer special pricing for Our Celtic Hearth Retreats Only -  full house rental price above for all other retreat providers of $500 CAD plus tax per night. We may be open to negotiating providing breakfast or other meals for your retreat. Please email us to discuss.

Oak room - queen bed

The Oak room is on the Southwest corner of the house and enjoys view down over the valley and our nut orchard. There is a bathroom with clawfoot tub which can be ensuite if no other guests are staying or shared with the other rooms if our space is full. (There is also a full bathroom off the kitchen on the main floor for guest use) A spacious hallway accommodates a tea  station and a seating nook. 

Ash room - 2 twin beds

 The Ash room is tucked away at the Northwest corner of the house. There is a lovely view over the back gardens and wooded area. Two twin beds share the space and there are two closets to store your personal belongings.  Shared bathroom is down the hall.

Pine room - Queen

 The Pine room boasts a great view of the back gardens and built in wardrobe for all your things. The shared bathroom with clawfoot tub, shower and lots of space is right across the hall. Shared spaces in the Hall include an antique desk and lamp for late night letter writing. There are also two sitting rooms, dining room and kitchen that can be used during your stay. It is truly a home away from home. 

Birch room- twin

This cosy room over the kitchen used to be the Maid's quarters and boasts lots of natural light and its own stairs down to the main floor. Bathroom access is down the stairs and through the kitchen to a shared washroom with shower. Enjoy a unique experience at Our Celtic Hearth.

Attic Dorm Style room



The attic space is a large open plan space accessed by a set of steep stairs down to the first floor bedrooms and bathroom. We currently have 4 single beds in this space along with seating and a working sink. Expand your hosting capacity for your retreat or group booking by using this charming space.

Cosy and relaxing space

Enjoy full access to our library with wood stove, dining room with a table that seats 12-16 people, and sunny morning room. Sit and read a book or play a board game or just sip a cup of tea and relax.  Our screened in veranda area is also available for guests in the summer season.
